Rachel Sinsheimer

Rachel Sinsheimer is an associate at Headwaters Law Group, bringing more than a decade of experience in various facets of the environmental industry to her practice. She graduated from the University of Washington School of Law, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Washington Journal of Social and Environmental Justice (formerly the Washington Journal of Environmental Law and Policy). During law school Rachel gained hands on experience interning at the Natural Resources Defense Council and Environmental Protection Agency. She was also part of the inaugural class of Environmental Justice fellows at the Washington State Attorney General’s office.

Prior to law school Rachel was a paralegal and environmental consultant, focused on Clean Water Act compliance. Earlier in her career she worked in wildlife management and spent a year in Indonesia studying wild monkeys.

Rachel currently serves as a board member for the Washington State Bar Association’s Environmental Law and Land Use section, where she helps facilitate CLEs and networking events for Washington’s environmental law community. Rachel is an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law.

Rachel is licensed to practice in Washington.
